Stunning stairs

DSC_7755If you’re a regular Baubles & Threads reader, you may have noticed I have a thing for stairs. What can I say…We live on the UES, and there are no shortage of stunning apartment buildings…especially of the stairs variety 🙂

I loved this all white staircase, and thought it would be a great backdrop to today’s outfit 😉

DSC_7743The sleeveless blouse is one of my favorites. It’s from Vince, and I absolutely love their silk blouses. There is always some great detailing, like the back pleats on this blouse. I love the dark navy and pretty much pair it with any pair of pants I own…I’ve mentioned it previously, but I love the navy and black combo. I typically wear this blouse to work with black pants.

DSC_7782Today I decided to keep it on the more casual side and paired the blouse with jeans. These skinnies are from J Brand…surprise, surprise 😉

DSC_7746How cute are these leopard flats?! These are from Manolo Blanhik and were another one of my investment purchases. They’re  pretty timeless. Plus, Leopard is a great neutral in my book 🙂

DSC_7767I typically keep my earrings the same (pearls, pearls, pearls) but today I decided to change it up. I love the different color stones in these earrings and I think it dresses up the outfit a bit. I got them from a vintage store in Huntington Village, NY that I’ve mentioned before…My Inheritence.

DSC_7770I hope the rest of your week goes quickly…long weekend here we come! Can’t believe this weekend is the official end of summer. The good news is we’re closer to fall and cooler temperatures. Which means no more feeling hot and sticky and much better hair days…which as a gal with curly hair I have to say I am really looking forward to. Though I have to take a second to acknowledge my good hair day in today’s post. Not something I can say very often in the summer!

Until next time!

Emily
